Walking Tip: Vary Your Treadmill Pacing to Make Walking More Fun
Do the 4-step walking method to
insure a healthy and fun workout. 1) Warm-up, 2) Workout, 3) Cool-down, 4)
Stretch. Vary your speed for 1-3 minutes at a time. Warm up slowly for 5 minutes
and then up your pace for one minute to the fastest you can walk before running or increase your incline by a few numbers,
then slow back down for 2 minutes (sound familiar? One step forward, two steps
back). Vary the time and incline and you'll keep your brain engaged along with
your body.
