Keeping a journal of
your walking experiences will heighten your awareness and increase your joy for
walking. There's so much to see and so much to appreciate.
Make the most of your
walks by spending a few minutes after each walk journaling. What to write? Write
a paragraph, sentence, phrase or even a single word about something that you
found interesting, amusing, meaningful, touching, fun, a song you were singing
to yourself, the music you listened to on your walkman, a leaf you found, the
people you noticed or met - whatever keeps you walking.
If you record even one paragraph a day, by the end of one year, you'll have 365
entries - enough for a book, as well as an incredible record of your life
through an experience of something you love - walking!
